Portobello Film Festival Notting Hill London

We start the month of September and the season of autumn with a flurry of fantastic films as the Portobello Film Festival returns to Notting Hill.

Now in its 16th year, the festival champions creative and independent films. Over 700 films will be shown at the Portobello Pop Up Cinema and Westbourne Studios. The films will cover a variety of genres and showcase the latest Italian, Irish, Spanish and Caribbean films. The films are all free to watch and rely on your donations.

This year's festival will be leaning towards films from Europe and London. The opening night will be featuring the drama Ebony Road and Sex Pistols Stockholm 1977.

For those who are unlucky enough to miss the 18 day bonanza, the films will be freely screened online for the first time so you won't miss a single scene.

The event culminates with its Grand Awards Ceremony on Sunday 18 Septmber. You can watch the first part of last year's awards below.
