If you're looking for something fun and different to do this month in the borough, head down to the Victoria and Albert Meseum to see the Textile Field (pictured) installation. It's running as part of the London Design Festival (LDF) and we saw a preview of it earlier in the year. It's incredible.
Kvadrat, a textile design company, has collaborated with French designers Ronan and Erwan Bourollec to create the dramatic Textile Field. The installation is 30 metres long and eight metres wide. With gentle inclinations on each side, visitors can walk and louge on the space. It runs from today (16 September) until 25 September, 10am until 5.45pm.
All displays will be on show throughout the London Design Festival, which runs until September 25. More information is also here. As part of the London Design Festival you can also catch Creative Chelsea, a local initiative which is showcasing design businesses on King's Road.
