If eating cup cakes and sipping macchiatos is your idea of heaven, then the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s Bikeminded coffee and cake cycling tour may be just the treat you've been looking for.
On Saturday 8 October, the Royal Borough is inviting you on a two and a half hour bike ride, visiting some of the most prestigious and delicious cafes and cake shops. The cycle ride starts at 1.30pm at a secret coffee location in Notting Hill. The tour then weaves its way to Pierre Herme in Knightsbridge for some award-winning macarons before finishing in Chelsea at 4pm.
It is part of RBKC's Bikeminded campaign, which aims to get more residents and workers in the borough on cycling. The cycle ride will introduce people to the pleasures of two wheels with a route through some of the most beautiful streets in borough and some mouth-watering stops along the way.
The cost of the tour is just £5.00 per person and includes cakes and coffee. You're asked to bring your own bike, although you can hire one from a Barclays Cycle Hire Docking Station nearby. Tickets are on sale now - book a place by visiting here.
Happy cycling!
