Notting Hill Shopping Bag has announced a new design for their bags and is now onsale. Chanay Vital is the featured designer with her colourful portrayal of the Grade II-listed Trellick Towers, which has been described as a “complicated building to draw.”
This makes Chanay's illustration all the more impressive because she's only a ten year old pupil from Notting Hill's Middle Row Primary School. The school held the competition and judged that Chanay's work was distinct, despite the many high quality designs entered by other pupils.
Chanay will receive a certificate in recognition of her fabulous work, so well done Chanay!
Notting Hill Shopping Bag is a community scheme aiming to reduce plastic in the local area by selling bags designed by locals and celebrities (one of the designs was by actress and singer Natalie imbruglia), with 10 per cent of their proceeds going to charities and good causes.
