Golborne Road becomes a sea of culture as music, food and fun as the Golborne Road Festival kicks off once again.
On the 17 July, the entire length of Golborne Road will be closed to make way for tons of activities for everyone to enjoy. Stalls selling food from around the world will be on hand to tickle your taste buds, such as food from Trinidad, Pizza East barbecue and intriguingly, a bicycle powered smoothie maker.
Members from the local community and council will also be setting stalls including independent promoter Wedge Card and Kensington and Chelsea College.
If you've got kids who are itching to wander about, why not let them be entertained Hamido the Moroccan Clown who not only makes kids laugh, but can wow them too with his trickery and magic skills. There are also police cars and fire engines for your kids to explore
Of course, a festival can't be a festival without live music. Live bands from a variety of genres such as Panorama winners Ebony Steel Band, Spanish-pop group Rumbaba Deluxe, Hardway, local MC JC001 and more will come down and enrich Golborne Road with their rich and melodic sounds.
Most importantly, the festival is free so bring everyone in your address book and experience a festival that can only held on Golborne Road.
