North Kensington Library will fully reopen its doors this coming Monday (August 8) after being refurbished and redecorated for over a month.
Currently, the ground and first floors of the library are closed but building works are almost complete and will remain closed until 6 August. The children's library will remain open.
With the completion of the refurbishment, the library will have self-service machines as standard in the Borough's libraries, an improved layout and additional services.
In May, Notting Hill Gate Library too was refurbished after being flooded and just over a month ago, the Borough joined with Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster coucils to combine their services in order to save 21 libraries from closing.
North Kensington Library reopens on 8 August.
